Sin City Anime strives to create a safe and family-friendly environment. These terms and conditions are in place to properly handle situations of security, but we also need your help in upholding our standards and encouraging others to do the same.
Let's keep in mind the elements of anime that we all love: the ones that bring us all together. Feelings of friendship, camaraderie, and love. Lets represent the best of ourselves and create the best experience for the community.
By purchasing a ticket to the Sin City Anime 2023 event, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. Sin City Anime LLC provides these terms and conditions for all who purchase tickets and/or attend the Sin City Anime 2023 event. These terms and conditions are meant to ensure the safety and well-being of every guest at Sin City Anime, and are subject to change at any time without notice. For the purpose of this agreement, "you", "guests", or "attendees" refers to the individual or entity who purchase(s) the tickets and/or attend the Sin City Anime 2023 event. "We", "us", or "Sin City Anime", means Sin City Anime LLC., and the "parties" refers to both the you and Sin City Anime LLC. Online Registration for Sin City Anime 2023 is open as of February 2023.
ONLINE REGISTRATION STEPS
1. Purchase tickets through online Jotform portal. (see registration page for the link to register)
2. Receive confirmation email after purchase. Save this email!
3. Arrive on site on or after Day 0 (Thursday, November 2nd, 2023) to pickup your physical badge. Confirmation emails will be cross-checked with government-issued photo ID during badge pick-up.
4. Put your badge around your neck or somewhere visible on yourself to display for Staff and Security.
5. Enjoy yourself and have amazing fun experiences at Sin City Anime!
REGISTRATION TIMES/DATES
At-con registration will open on Day 0 (Thursday, November 2nd, 2023), and continue each day of the convention at different operating times. Registration desk hours are as follows:
Day 0 - 11/02/23 | 12pm - 8pm
Day 1 - 11/03/23 | 10am - 7pm
Day 2 - 11/04/23 | 9am - 7pm
Day 3 - 11/05/23 | 9am - 4pm
Please provide your legal name when registering, as government-issued ID will be used to verify online registration during badge pickup.
Convention Conduct
Sin City Anime attendees are expected to follow all of Nevada's laws without question. Disruptive behavior or harassment of any sort is subject to security action by the discretion of Sin City Anime's directors and Safety Response Team, along with ultimate action being taken by the Gold Coast hotel Security. Licensed officers and EMT are on-site and 5 minutes away from taking action at any time.
Warnings are issued by discretion, but Sin City Anime directors and Safety Response Team hold the right to forcible ejection from the convention, revocation of your badge and convention access, blacklisting from future Sin City Anime events and other 3rd party convention events, or even criminal charges. (Action taken is solely at the discretion of Sin City Anime, LLC.)
Actions subject to persecution may include but are not limited to:

Loitering, or sleeping in any space in the convention areas;

Failure to observe basic hygiene;

Disrupting or harassing the public or staff in any manor, physical or verbal;

Fighting (fake or real), heckling, or inappropriate unwanted touching;
-
Actions that bring a substantial risk or harm to other people or the venue property;
-
Sexual harassment of any kind, there will be no exceptions for anyone;
-
Engaging in any activity prohibited by law;
-
Possession of illegal substance or paraphernalia;
-
Public inebriation/intoxication;
-
Soliciting or distribution of unapproved literature;
Sin City Anime does not tolerate harassment of any kind. Harassment is any behavior that is intentional, and aimed at badgering, touching, threatening, stalking, belittling, alarming or making another person uncomfortable. PLEASE, abide by the golden rule and treat others how you would want to be treated and respected. Amongst other attendees, we are all here to have our best times of life, lets be the best we can with each other, respect each person's attendee experience. Lets do our best to be socially aware of others around us, lets watch out for over stepping boundaries of other people, such as: giving or asking for unwanted physical contact such as hugs or high fives, following another attendee around who is unfamiliar, or unwanted distasteful photo or videography. Lets always remember Cosplay is not Consent.
For public health and safety, all attendees must wear appropriate footwear inside the Hotel and our convention spaces. Bare foot attendees, socks only, or attendees with footwear deemed unsafe or inappropriate, will be politely removed by the hotel security as the venue itself would not condone this. Please wear any of the following: Shoes, sandals, flip flops, aqua sox, or slippers.
Sin City Anime reserves the right to deem any costume unacceptable, inappropriate, or unsafe, and request the attendee in costume to make necessary modifications to attain an acceptable presence within the all ages sections of the convention. If an attendee is costuming for an 18+ event, or other event requiring the costume in question, it is suggested to wear a covering outfit for the general convention space
General Policies
AGE LIMITATIONS
All ages are welcome to attend Sin City Anime! Attendees ages 15 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during all times of the convention. Sin City Anime staff and the Safety Response team will enforce this age standard, and unaccompanied children will be brought to registration where their guardian on file will be contacted to re-establish accompaniment. According to Las Vegas and Clark County laws, there is a curfew for those under 18. A parent or guardian over the age of 18 is required to accompany his/her child who is under the age of 18 after midnight off the Las Vegas Strip.
BADGE PROPERTY
Sin City Anime badges are the property of Sin City Anime LLC and are registered and given to attendees as a symbol of ticket purchase and access to all of the convention features. These badges are registered and used as a reference of personable accountability for Sin City Anime Staff, and therefore making the registered person a Sin City Anime Attendee. Badges may not be modified, copied, or tampered with in any way. Sin City Anime staff holds the right to revoke badges at their discretion.
EXHIBITORS
By purchasing from an exhibitor or artist at Sin City Anime, you agree to all the terms that exhibitor or artist may have regarding the sale of that item(s). It is up to the attendee to ask about any concerns they have, including but not limited to prices and return policies of the item(s).
LOST BADGES
Lost or Stolen badges may be replaced only once at a fee of $30. Registration will use your government issued photo ID confirm registration and issue the replacement badge. Should Sin City Anime LLC find that this policy is being exploited, we will terminate this policy at our discretion.
REFUNDS
All ticket sales are final, and refunds will not be offered on any ticket purchases for Sin City Anime. This practices enables smooth planning and operation of the convention.
Refunds will not be given should the event be cancelled due to Acts of God, war, government regulation, disaster, strikes, or any other cause which makes performance impossible or illegal.
HOWEVER, should the event be cancelled for any other reason, Sin City Anime LLC will accept all refund requests within 6 months after the date of cancellation.
WEAPONS AND COSPLAY PROPS
Absolutely NO open weapons are allowed on the convention premises, whether visible or not. Sin City Anime reserves the right to remove anyone who brings a weapon of threat into our convention area. Cosplayers may bring prop or fake weapons as part of their outfit, however they must be checked in by our staff at our Weapons Check booth attached to Registration. Special zip-ties will be applied to the prop weapon to show it was checked by staff. Prop weapons that have not been approved will be stopped and rejected at all main entrances of the convention. Below are a list of miscellaneous rules and requirements of cosplay weapon props.
-No wooden or metal swords, bats, or any other weapon made from solid wood or metal. If purchased in the exhibitor hall, they must be wrapped, sealed, and taken to be stored away from the convention.
-Weapon props resembling guns MUST have the orange or bright marker cap at the tip of the barrel. Gun props may NOT have a magazine attached to them, and one may not be carried around to use for photos. If gun weapons are seen to be tampered with in either way, they will be confiscated and/or the cosplayer will have their badge taken away.
-Cosplay prop weapons may not be usable in their original fashions. If a weapon prop can be used as the intended/depicted weapon, the Safety Response Team and the Weapons Check staff may ban the prop at their discretion.
-There may be other stipulations that arise, please be mindful with us that we are looking to create the best experience for everyone, and keeping everyone feeling safe will require all of our participation.
In consideration of the ongoing challenges our world is facing, including the recent conflicts and tragic incidents:
-We have made the decision to prohibit tactical costumes and cosplay at this year's convention.
-We also kindly ask that attendees do not bring any projectile-type weapon props. Realistic or fantasy, we want to avoid anything that could resemble a firearm.

COVID-19 Precautions
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to local health authorities, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending our event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to and/or spreading of COVID-19.
We will abide by the local conditions set by the local government mandates, and are subject to change at any moment. Sin City Anime reserves the right to protect its attendees if mandated, to enforce covid precautions, such as but not limited to: mask requirements, social distancing, and negative covid test verification.
Privacy and Release
By attending Sin City Anime and physically entering and being within the convention space, you agree to grant Sin City Anime, along with all of its partners and affiliates, the irrevocable right and license to use your name, likeness, speech, and photograph in any advertising or publicity, in any media now or hereafter created, throughout the world. You also agree to release Sin City Anime, and any of its partners and affiliates, from any action or liability of any nature whatsoever that arises from the use of the materials mentioned above.
